IPL 2014: Five TUCC players in the auction Pool

The Indian Premier League auctions this year will have as many as five players who previously took NDTV's Toyota University Cricket Championship by storm in 2013.

The most prominent of the five cricketers is Kaunain Abbas of Jain Univerity. The batsman became well-known for his power-hitting in the inaugural T20 tournament - performances that helped his side lift the title.

Abbas is joined in the auction pool by R Samarth and Shreyas Gopal who were also earlier selected to play for Karnataka in Ranji.
The others who will go under the hammer in the auctions scheduled for February 12 are Mumbai University skipper Siddhesh Lad and his teammate Saurabh Netrawalkar.
